missingWrote a review on Nov 23no hot waterpoor placement
the lack of hot water was simply shocking—you'd think for 2 nights there woudl be some warmth. plus, the toilet roll holder’s location was just inexcusable, banged my elbow more than I'd like. i expected a complimentary gift for the inconvenience, but no, they clearly don’t value their guests. almost left a good review, but just couldn’t.

My stay at Hunter Arms was extremely pleasant. The hotel boasts a charming history, being built in 1927, which gives it a unique character. The room I stayed in was well-equipped with a queen bed, microwave, and refrigerator. The staff demonstrated exceptional service, going out of their way to ensure my comfort. I also enjoyed the cozy courtyard and the convenience of nearby local eateries, making it a perfect choice for my business trip.
The only downside was some noise from the hallway.

The hotel has a unique charm, boasting its historical architecture from 1927 that offers a nostalgic ambiance.
Unfortunately, the noise from outside was disruptive, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep with loud chatter and activity until late at night.

Wow, the culinary scene around Hunter Arms is incredible! Don’t miss Kuppa Thyme for a killer breakfast and Chimento's Spaghetti House for a hearty meal. To top it off, the room had plenty of pillows and a charming old telephone which added to the quirky experience. The cleanliness of the lobby was truly impressive!
However, our bed was super soft, making for a restless night’s sleep. Plus, the temperature control was a little off. it was comfortable but not quite chill enough. Despite this, everything else at the Hunter Arms still shone.

Is it a hit or a miss? here’s my take
Street parking was convenient! the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.
The bathroom was cramped, which limited comfort while getting ready for the day.

Mixed Experience with Potential
Had a mixed experience during our two-night stay. The location impressed us, with fantastic dining options nearby. We enjoyed the eggs Benedict at the adjoining café, but our room had a few quirks. Ensure you check reservations in advance for a smoother experience next time!

Loved the prime location and had a comfy bed with plenty of outlets! The bathroom was tidy, too, which is always a plus in an old spot like this.
But, my dear, the rickety floors had me feeling like I was part of a horror movie! And, I found half a dozen ants plotting a takeover in my room—yikes!
